Skip typing every name again

Export your spreadsheet as a CSV and upload it to Seating. Only a name column is required, and the import preview lets you check the first rows before continuing.

02

Keep the useful context

Record relationships, priority levels and age groups. Add must-sit-with and must-not-sit-with preferences so the details you know about your guests stay with the plan.

03

Make changes as RSVPs settle

Add, edit or remove guests as your list changes. Check the updated assignments and table capacities before exporting the final list.

Get to know the way Seating works.

Can I import an Excel or Google Sheets guest list?

Yes. Export the spreadsheet as a CSV first, then upload that CSV to Seating. Native Excel workbook files are not imported directly.

What does the CSV need to include?

Only a name column is required. The downloadable template also shows optional fields for relationships, priority, age group and seating preferences.

Can I check the file before importing?

Yes. Seating shows an import preview and flags preferences it cannot match so you can review them.
